This month the twentieth falls on a Sunday. Which means I’m writing this blog stats post while my kids are napping.

SVG files are like JPG, PNG, and GIF files. They’re all images. But unlike JPG, PNG, and GIF files - which are raster images - SVG files are vector images. And, unlike JPG, PNG, and GIF files, SVG files don’t render a thumbnail in Windows Explorer or show up as a preview.

About a year or so ago, GitHub announced that GitHub Actions was generally available. GitHub Actions allows anyone to “automate their workflow” - in other words, run code on committed code - on GitHub’s own servers, and share those actions.

Reading keeps getting better month after month. I read more to both my son and my daughter, and twice as many books for myself than I did last month.

One of my goals for this year (and indeed, it was a failed goal for last year as well) was to create and publish an Android app. I’m happy to report that I have reached that goal.
