I think I did pretty good reading-wise in October.

The twentieth of the month means it’s time for my monthly blog stats report. This month it’s October - covering the time frame from September 20th - October 19th, 2020.

October. The first full month of Autumn. The air begins to cool. Sweaters and light jackets become necessary. At the end of the month, it’ll be Halloween, which means it’s time to carve jack-o-lanterns.

If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you’ll know that I publish monthly book reading lists. While the format has changed slightly since my first book reading list in January of 2018, and I didn’t publish one the following month, the posts have been a regular part of this blog for almost three years now.

I love my online high-yield savings account. I’ve had the account a number of years now, and it was great when the interest rate was just over two percent. But over the past year, the interest rate has slowly been dropping, and now, it’s under one percent.
