Writing What I Want
One of the most successful affiliate programs is the Amazon Associate program. This encourages websites not owned by Amazon to link to various parts of Amazon. However, if you’ve ever paid attention to your address bar while browsing Amazon, you’ll notice that the URL gets quite long and confusing. Since I couldn’t find any official documentation of Amazon’s URL anatomy, I decided to dissect it to see what I could find.
The month of March is going to be an intense one for me. In addition to my normal life of school and work, I’m helping my wife in her final few weeks of pregnancy and I intend to remodel the master bathroom.
It’s already been a month since I did the previous (& first!) blog stats report, so it’s time for another one.
Recently I heard the following quote often misattributed to George Bernard Shaw - "The Biggest Problem in Communication Is the Illusion That It Has Taken Place." And it made me think in what ways is communication often an illusion?
I’ve been pretty successful selling t-shirts on Amazon these past few months. I normally only sell one, maybe two shirts per order, but one particular order caught my eye. I sold eight of these Euler’s constant t-shirts on January 15th. Cool, easy money. When February 7th rolled around, Wikipedia shared on their Facebook page that it was Euler’s Constant Day.
